Early Fall – Mountain

Mountain season is made up of five Eastern Collegiate Cycling Series races. At each race, there are four events: two endurance events (Cross Country and Short Track Cross Country) and two gravity events (DH, Enduro, or Dual Slalom). Men’s events have three categories: A, B, & C, while Women’s events have A & B.
Late Fall – Cyclocross

Cyclocross season is different than Road and MTB, as the races we attend are not collegiate only. It is made up of five Eastern Collegiate Cycling Series races. CX racers will race in standard USA Cycling categories 1-5. Most venues will have a race on Saturday and a race on Sunday.
Spring – Road

Road season is made up of five Eastern Collegiate Cycling Series races. At each race, there is a road race, a criterium, and a team time trial. Some races will have hill climbs, individual time trials, and circuit races. Men’s races have categories A-E, while Women’s races have A-D. Some races will have a beginner’s clinic to teach new riders how to compete in their first race safely
Summer – Track

Track season is different, as the races are in the summer. There are typically two Eastern Collegiate Cycling Series races, split between Kissena Velodrome and Trexlertown Velodrome. Race weekends are made up of an omnium of different races. Track riders will race in categories A-D.
